(4 years – 5th grade)
9:45 AM- 10:45 AM
Children learn from the Old and New Testaments during the year. There are monthly units that engage children in open-ended exploration and inquiry of the Bible. The curriculum we use is called “Celebrate Wonder.”
Nursery
It’s never too early to introduce children to Jesus!
The nurturing foundation of Jesus’ love can begin in the nursery! We work to engage young hearts and stimulate little minds with simple Bible stories and verses, playful activities, and lively music. Nursery care for your little one (birth – 3 years) is available during both worship services on Sunday mornings. Nursery care can also be scheduled for other times as well—contact the church office. Sunday morning nursery is in room 132 and is equipped with loving staff and age-appropriate toys. It is important that parents sign in their little one(s) and leave a phone number so that we can contact them in case of an emergency.
Camps
Each summer, First Church hosts Project Transformation, a high-quality, structured literacy camp for underserved children in the Bartlesville community. First Church also hosts Kanisa Camp, a Christian-themed summer day camp, open to all children. As we prepare for this year’s camps, check here for news and application information.
*Unfortunately, Project Transformation will not take place this year (2022). Please check back next Summer .
Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me..."
